Matched tenders
Work through the tenders Tendergate found for your organization - views, filters, shortlisting and dismissing.
The Matched for you tab lists the tenders Tendergate has scored for your organization. Every night it checks new open tenders against your selection and scoring settings and gives each one two scores:
- Relevance (0-100) - how well the tender fits what your company does.
- Eligibility - whether your company meets the tender's qualification requirements. See Eligibility check.
Until an owner or admin saves the settings for the first time, the tab shows Tender selection with a Set up selection button.
Views
The buttons above the filters switch between views. Each shows how many tenders it holds.
| View | What it shows |
|---|---|
| High relevance | Tenders at or above your high relevance threshold. This is the default view. |
| Shortlist | Tenders you starred, including ones whose deadline has passed. |
| All | Every scored tender, including those below the high relevance threshold. |
| Excluded | Tenders whose main subject matches one of your negative keywords. They get relevance 0. |
| Dismissed | Tenders you dismissed, with the reason, including ones whose deadline has passed. |
Dismissed tenders appear only in Dismissed. Apart from Shortlist and Dismissed, the views list open tenders only.
What each row shows
- Title, with the country flag, the source, the estimated value and the buyer.
- Found by - how the tender was found: a CPV code from your settings ("Found by: CPV 72200000-7") or one of your keywords ("Found by: keyword “optical network”"). Excluded tenders show "Excluded:" and the negative keyword instead.
- Deadline - the date and how many days are left, in red when 7 days or fewer are left. See Deadlines.
- Relevance - the score from 0 to 100. Scores in the top band are green, the middle band dark, the rest gray. You set where the bands start.
- Eligibility - the eligibility score and any gaps, such as "2 not met" or "3 not verifiable", or "All met". A dash means the tender has not been checked; hover over it to see why.
The list is sorted by deadline, nearest first, and tenders without a deadline come last. Click a column heading to sort by it.
Filtering
- Search tenders - search titles and descriptions
- Published - 30 days, 7 days, 24h or any time
- Relevance - 90+, 75–89 or <75, using your relevance bands
- Service - tenders scored for one of your services
- Source - the official source
- Closing soon - only tenders whose deadline is within the next 7 days
- Filter - Country, Industry / CPV code and Notice type
- Saved filters - see Saved filters
The status line
The line above the list shows:
- how many tenders were found
- when the catalogue and the scores were last updated
- after a recalculation, links such as 9 new with high relevance and 4 no longer high relevance. Each opens a list of those tenders; Show the full list takes you back.
- "The nightly run checks N more notices" when there were more keyword matches to check than one run covers
When the settings have changed since the last recalculation, owners and admins see Changes not applied yet next to the settings gear. Click it to open the settings and apply the changes with Save and recalculate. See Recalculating.
Shortlisting and dismissing
Any member of your organization can sort tenders. Each decision applies to the whole team.
- Shortlist - click the star on a row. The tender appears in Shortlist. Click the star again to remove it from the shortlist.
- Dismiss - click the cross on a row. Tendergate asks Why dismiss this tender? Pick a reason and click Dismiss:
- Not our field
- Contract value outside our range
- Deadline too soon
- We do not meet the qualification requirements
- Other - describe the reason in your own words
A dismissed tender leaves High relevance and is not included in the daily email. It stays in Dismissed with its reason.
Undo appears in the status line right after you shortlist or dismiss a tender. It puts the tender back the way it was. For example, undoing a dismissal of a shortlisted tender puts it back on the shortlist. In the Dismissed view, each row also has Undo.
You can do the same from the tender page and on the All tenders tab.
Several tenders at once
- Tick the checkbox on each row, or the checkbox in the header to select the whole page.
- A bar appears under the list with the number of tenders you ticked.
- Click Shortlist, or Dismiss and choose one reason for all of them. Cancel clears the selection.
Shortlisting, dismissing and undoing are recorded in the organization's audit log under Tender selection.
